Recently, it was learned from the Qingdao Municipal Commission of Agriculture that 12 enterprises including Qingdao Jixing Food Co., Ltd. in our city were awarded the title of leading enterprises in Qingdao's agricultural industrialization. Up to now, there are 77 leading enterprises in our city, accounting for 26.4% of Qingdao, including 1 national leading enterprise, 5 provincial leading enterprises, and 71 Qingdao municipal leading enterprises.

In recent years, the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture has been committed to cultivating a number of leading enterprises in the industrialization and processing of agricultural products, encouraging the merger and reorganization of agricultural product processing enterprises, the formation of large-scale processing enterprise groups, and improving the comprehensive efficiency and competitiveness of agriculture. Up to now, there are 582 agricultural product processing enterprises in the city, with a total output value of 24.58 billion yuan, of which 77 leading agricultural industrialization enterprises above Qingdao have a total output value of more than 15.5 billion yuan, accounting for 63% of the output value of the agricultural product processing industry.

In the next step, our city will accelerate the centralized distribution of the processing industry to the advantageous production areas, and build a leading area for large-scale food processing. Cultivate and expand the main body of the industry, improve the level of processing development, and guide and support agricultural product processing enterprises to become bigger and stronger. Implement the transformation and upgrading of the agricultural product processing industry, cultivate a group of leading agricultural product processing enterprises with annual sales of more than 2 billion yuan, and build five 2 billion-level agricultural industrial chains including grain, peanuts, vegetables, fruits, and livestock and poultry feed. Further strengthen the support of scientific and technological talents, and enhance the scientific and technological innovation capabilities of leading enterprises. Strengthen the construction of innovation platforms for key leading enterprises, actively carry out "one enterprise, one technology" innovation activities, give full play to the guiding role of government funds, encourage enterprises to introduce advanced technology and equipment at home and abroad, and focus on supporting 20 leading enterprises and 20 experts and scholars to establish industry-university-research linkages relationship, and build innovation platforms such as R&D centers. At the same time, strengthen the drive of brands, improve market competitiveness, implement the "international +" strategy, promote the internationalization of the development of the agricultural product processing industry, and cultivate a group of large enterprises and groups with international competitiveness.
